Regulated Switch Mode Power Supply (R.SMPS^TM): The built-in regulated ability gives consistent, reliable sonic performance. Plus, even when there is a great fluctuation in mains voltage fP Series amps keep running at full output power. Innovative design creates a power amp that is light-weight and compact (ferrite power transformer), while performing at the highest levels of sound quality.

Remaining Cool: With fP Series amps, very little heat is produced from the beginning. The small amount of heat that is created is then dealt with in an effective, yet simple, way that further improves on unit size and weight. The Intercooler^TM cooling system enables super efficient dissipation of heat through the use of well-engineered pure copper heat sinks and speed-controlled fans. Reliable quality performance is the result.

Convertible Power Amplification: The Matching Load System (MLS^TM) allows the user control over power transfer into individual speaker loads. No matter the level of impedance, with Lab.gruppen's unique MLS^TM feature, top performance and reliable operation is guaranteed.

Class Evolution: Class TD^TM, Lab.gruppen's own evolutionary step past the common Class D, is incorporated into the flagship models: fP 6400 and fP 3400. Combining the best from Class A/B, reliable sonic performance, with the efficiency of Class D, this technology guarantees exact transfer of audio signal along with optimal use of energy.

Gain Flexibility: The Multiple Position Gain Switch (M.PGS) allows maximization of headroom and elimination of clipped signals. Easily matching industry gain requirements is achieved by selecting one of eight gain settings, ranging from 20dB to 41dB. Standard in all fP Series models, except for fP 2400Q.

Made in rock-solid style, virtually everything around the power supplies with their toroid transformers is far from being conventional!

The advantages in performance, functionality, and reliability derive from the many features of fP amplifiers that also went into the iP Series: Intercooler, ALS,multiple positions gain switch, easily removable dust filters on the front panels, and many other features.

As a result, the user enjoys superb sonic quality at up to more than 2,000 watts out of relatively small units, maximum 2U high and 325mm/12.8´´ deep.

As in the fP Series, a 4-channel model provides yet another solution for greater flexibility. The iP Series of amplifiers is a cost-effective set of tools for pragmatic work with sound systems in "real world" situations - both in installed and mobile applications.
